October and November

We had a whirlwind fall and it was full of the best time. Clarkson is growing up so fast we don’t even know what to do.

Clarkson at SIX MONTHS:

Somehow my littlest love is 6 months old

Clarkson is pure joy, pure love, pure happiness. His smile and giggle melts everyone around him. He is so sweet and laid-back, he loves seeing new people and hands out his smiles to everyone.

His brothers adore him and make up little songs about him, complain if they didn’t get enough time with him, and love making him smile. Clarke has everyone fighting for time with him.

He rolls all over and tries to scoot to keep up with his brothers. He loves green beans and baby crackers and bananas. He only gets mad when he has been on his own for too long or he is tired. His eyes follow his brothers, he gives his dad his biggest smiles, and he’s a major mama’s boy.

He has already rolled out of his bumbo and off the nugget and is ready to be on the move. He babbles and talks to us with the brightest eyes. He will chew on anything he gets his hands on and sleeps really well.

I don’t know how the time keeps moving faster, but I’m just trying to enjoy every second with my sweet baby

A girls trip and a murder mystery date night were other highlights! I loved going to be with my friends in Saint George, making crafts and eating out and going swimming!

October was full of Halloween festivities, the boys were Pokemon and loved it. Pikachu, Evie, a Pokeball, Ash and Misty. It was a delight. We passed out donuts to the neighbors for Halloween and the boys got buckets of candy.

We took Clarke to his first Jazz game and it was such a blast. We went with Cousins to the Cherry Hill Scary Hill which we loved, and we went to the Black Island Farms fall fun a couple times. The boys LOVE it there and have a blast! We did the Red Butte Garden Halloween event with Courtney and Tommy—we LOVED it and will be back!

We threw a shower for Aunt Kate and it turned out so fun and lovely!

We went and saw Nutcracker in November and loved taking Wells for the first time. After intermission when the curtain came up, Wells exclaimed “Wait a second is this a Christmas show??”

He also insisted the Arabian dancers were bats, and applauded, oohed, and ahhhed so loudly.

We decorated which is always a favorite morning for me. We got donuts and enjoyed listening to music and getting everything set up

We got our family photos and it was so BEAUTIFUL, We loved them so much, Amber is the best person to work with.

Clarkson turned 7 months! Clarkson is 7 months old. It feels unfair how fast the time is flying.

Clarke is on the move, army crawling so fast he gets into all his brother’s things, and trying to get on his knees and crawl to make even more mayhem.
He has found his yell and scream and isn’t afraid to use it, no matter if he’s happy or sad.
He loves to eat and gets very put out of anyone eats without sharing. He loves eggs, cheese, chocolate, bread, cucumbers, and peppers the most.
He is the smiliest baby ever and has big open mouth grins for everyone, with lots of laughs.
He’s getting a little more stranger danger, but is generally so good natured he can charm anyone.

Our family is so lucky to have the sweetest baby brother

We had a lovely Thanksgiving, saw Wicked, and have had the best wrap up to fall and kick off to the holidays. It’s the best time of year!

September 2024

I had a perfect birthday with family and friends, Wells started preschool, we had a fall weekend with friends, and we are ready for the cooler weather. We love September!

The boys had a blast at the Scarecrow Walk getting face paint, seeing the scarecrows, playing in the dirt, and painting pumpkins!

Clarke is 5 MONTHS OLD which is wild. He rolls over non-stop, is a great sleeper, is unsure how he feels about eating food but always is so jealous when anyone eats around him, and is such a chatterbox! He follows his brothers with his eyes everywhere they go.

We had a lovely weekend at the Rock House enjoying games, friends, food, dance parties, cheering on runners, and an outdoor movie.

My birthday weekend was so fun with brunch and friends, breakfast in bed, a flower arranging day, s’mores with more friends, a home cooked meal, lots of wonderful presents, and being spoiled rotten. We went fishing and took the boys for the first time and it was SO fun.

Wells started school! He did such a great job and walked in with no fear. He’d been dying to go for MONTHS and was so excited it was finally his turn. He wants to have stories about his friends and things he does and now he finally has them! He marched up to kids and asked them what their names were and has never looked back.

We had a family day at Cherry Hill for Labor Day which was SO fun. We had a blast all being together!

August 2024

We rounded out summer with more swimming, lots of friend and family time, reading books, playing games, and more. We had our back to school feast and camp out and it was so fun to gear up for the year. The boys loved picking out their stuff for the year and we’re ready to have a great school year.

We had a fun Olympics competition and LOVED watching the olympics all month! The boys had a BLAST. Our friend olympics was a party!

Randy and I got to see Hamilton and my jaw was on the floor the entire time. SO GOOD.

Graham started school and did such a great job. He was nervous about being there all day, but has been such a champ! He said he still just wants to be a kid when he grows up, and he was so excited to have Ms. Wunder for a teacher. He’s going to blow them all away. Wells is dying to start school and starts after Labor Day, but he was SO ready during the back to school feast! The boys are so cute and fun and I’m so happy to have such a great family.

July 2024 – Disneyland, Summer, 4th, FUN

We had a fantastic July full of the most fun trips! We started with 4th of July and our neighborhood bike parade which was a blast! Randy led the group and it was so fun. We celebrated the 4th with a parade, BBQ, Hamilton, fireworks, and so much candy and popcorn!

We had mom and dad dates and crossed things off our summer bucket list.

Bear Lake with the whole family was so fun! The kids LOVED the beach, the lake trampoline, paddle boarding, eating dinner together, playing the arcade games, mini golfing, and of course getting plenty of shakes. It was a blast and we can’t wait to go back!

Disneyland is always the best. The boys didn’t know we were going and we surprised them when we were in Downtown Disney. Then the surprises kept coming when we met up with friends! This year Graham was all about Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. He tried the Incredicoaster for the first time! He teared up a little bit as we were getting off and mom asked if he liked it. He said “I liked it, it was just a lot!” But he rode it again like a champ!
Wells got to try Millennium Falcon and he LOVED it. He loved Gadget’s Go Coaster, Mickey and Minnie, and of course Buzz. Clarke was a champ and tried so many rides, was worn most of the day, and was a great baby at Disney. We ate our favorite foods and just enjoyed our quick trip. The highlight at the end was seeing all the characters before we left.

June 2024

Happy birthday Wells 💚

Wells has been turning into a person right before our eyes and we love who he’s becoming.

Wells is obsessed with music. He will ask Alexa for songs approximately 10000 times a day, and the crazy thing is that he knows the words and will sing along. He loves playing his drums, playing piano, dancing around to music, and will constantly ask us the name of songs in the car. He has sat through entire dance recitals and performances, utterly mesmerized. His love for music mirrors his dad’s and it makes me so happy.

Wells loves Pokemon, TMNT, spidey, Miraculous, pretty much anything with good guys and bad guys and fighting it out. He loves imagination games but often requests that “no we are all friends” instead of fighting. But in the next breath he will tell us “this is a punchy” and threatens to get us. It’s a constant back and forth here!

Wells is so so smart and loves learning. He will request to do a workbook or our little preschool lessons every day. He picks up things so quick and knows most of his letters, all the sounds, can count so well, and loves tracing letters and doing mazes. He is so impatient to at preschool and asks often when he can do to real school which he has dubbed “spiderman school.” He will sit and look at books for hours and always stops me when I read to say “mom I love how…” and then will proceed to make an observation about the story. It kills me!

Wells wants to be just like Graham and follows his lead on many things, but Wells also has an independence and fearlessness that makes Graham follow his lead too. We love their dynamic so much.

This year Wells has done gymnastics and has loved it, and spends so much time in the yard playing! He loves to throw and catch, run, kick, and swing golf clubs or baseball bats.

Wells is our wild card. He is so curious, unafraid, stubborn, and marches to his own drum. It’s a lethal combo that makes him insanely fun. He has one volume – loud – and can be heard saying “I don’t care about it” and “I have a great idea” followed by him convincing you to do something he wants.

Wells is sweet, empathetic, brave, and fun. We love him so much.

HBD sweet boy 💚

Graham KILLED it at baseball this year! We are so proud of all he did and how much he learned and grew. He did great at hitting the ball, running the bases, and throwing!

We are already having the best summer with pool days with friends, time at the museum, and a trip to Saint George! The boys loved playing with Beth and Gavin and going to the beach.

Clarke is already 2 months old!

He is a good sleeper most of the time.
He gives us giant, open mouth smiles especially when he sees his brothers.
He’s finding his voice and loves to coo at us when we sing or chat.
He’s a true third child and is very chill, but when he needs something he will not be shy to let us know.
He is so strong and tries to hold his head up all the time to look around.
He’s obsessed with the ceiling fan and we call it his master because he will do whatever he can to be looking at it.
He has captured the hearts of everyone around him and we couldn’t be more obsessed.

May 2024

I’m having trouble understanding how time has moved so quickly. Clarkson is already a month old and I don’t know how to cope.

Clarke is our little bestie, he’s so good and loves to come along for all our crazy adventures. He sleeps so much and is a quintessential third kid!

He is finding his voice and isn’t afraid to tell us if he doesn’t like something or needs something.

Clarke shocked us all by never dropping from his birth weight and gaining 7 oz at his 2 week appointment!

I know people say newborns don’t mean to smile, but we swear Clarke has had smiles and even little giggles for us already. He is so sweet and fun, and we love him to pieces.

Here’s to slowing down time for next month.

S I X

Graham has grown so much this year and watching him learn has been the best thing.

Graham loves all things Pokemon, TMNT, Disney, superhero, and Harry Potter. He has such a wonderful imagination and is always making up games with his brother and friends. He loves playing with action figures and stuffed animals more than just about anything, and wants to keep every little toy and trinket to make up a game with.

Graham is so sweet and kind hearted. He is the sweetest big brother who always wants to help his little brothers, and he cares about them so much. He loves his friends hard, and loves any time as a family to chat and cuddle up.

This year we have watched Graham come out of his shell, be open and excited for new experiences and lean into being brave. He has taken on so many new things like school, piano, baseball, basketball, gymnastics, making new friends, being brave to do things on his own, going new places and meeting new people. He has grown so much and we are insanely proud of him.

Graham is so smart, he loves reading and writing and math, and his imagination shines as he learns. He asks great questions, and includes drawings with all of his school work—he’s a great artist! I never want to forget how he tests out colors on the page to make sure they look right before he puts them on the picture.

Graham’s sassy side has started to come out which we honestly love. He’s not afraid to explain his side, set boundaries, or tell us when he thinks we are wrong. I’m sure that will get more pronounced as he gets older!

Graham loves music and the boys play songs all day long, doing dance parties or making up games to go with their soundtrack. Graham also loves shopping, always wanting to buy new clothes (especially socks)—there is so much of his dad in him.

He can often be heard saying “let’s go baby!” And “come on bro” or “dude are you kidding me”

He’s six going on sixteen in a lot of ways, but he still wants to be a kid, insisting he doesn’t want to grow up or have a job or get married, which is fine by me.

Graham is our best buddy, an amazing helper, and the coolest, nicest kid I know. We are so insanely lucky to have him in our family!

We enjoyed the temple open house, a Austen tea party for Olivia’s birthday, the Tulip Festival, and so much time with Clarke. We love him so much!

Clarkson Kei Birth Story

Clarkson Kei Low

4/26/24 9:43 AM

7 lbs 14 oz

20 inches long

Thursday morning I had a little scare where I wasn’t feeling him move as much as I expected. Randy helped me relax and after an hour I started to feel him move a little bit more like normal. I told Randy to go into the office as planned and I just kept trying to pay attention to my body. Randy asked if I was having contractions which could impact him moving and I laughed and told him I hadn’t had any for a week and that he wasn’t coming that day.

I took the boys to gymnastics like normal and dropped Graham off at school. While I was eating lunch I started to have some contractions but they were short, not painful, and there were only a few. I thought nothing of it and kept working but when Randy texted me to check in I told him I was having a few contractions but they were no big deal. Good thing he didn’t listen and drove home after his work lunch!

I finished up some last meetings I wanted to get done before leave and was still having some contractions. I told Randy I couldn’t be going into labor because my eyelash appointment was the next day and I wanted to get them done! The contractions kept coming and I quickly asked my eyelash stylist if I could come right then, she was so nice and let me! She quickly did my appointment and I kept joking it was probably me being paranoid but at least I’d have them done for my induction Monday for sure!

On the drive home I knew. The contractions kept coming more regularly and I knew we would be going to the hospital that day. I got home and we made the boys dinner and chatted with them about the baby while making sure bags were packed up. Then it was off to Grandma’s to drop them off and off to the hospital!

When we got to the hospital we went to triage, I was dilated to a 4 and my contractions were regular but they needed to make sure I was progressing before they could admit me. We watched the rest of Dune I while we waited to see if I progressed enough. The contractions were getting painful and I was frustrated but they finally let me back! I was dilated to a 5 and they got me ready for the epidural.

My cute besties arrived to take pictures and video and make sure they didn’t miss capturing a thing! They were so sweet to come and sleep on tiny couches to make sure they didn’t miss it. I got my epidural and the contractions started to slow way down. I moved to a six over a couple hours while we tried to sleep, but I got stuck there. The catheter balloon was in front of the baby’s head so they had to move it so he could keep moving. They debated doing pitocin or breaking my water and decided to start giving me pitocin. I slept off and on, chatted with my friends, watched some shows, and waited more.

I slowly progressed over night but wasn’t making great progress, the nurses told me that once my water was broken it would go fast and that they were just waiting for the doctor to come break my water. We made guesses about the baby’s size and when he’d be here and laughed and chatted more.

The doctor arrived at around 7:45 and broke my water. I asked the nurse to check me at 8:20 so I knew if I needed to up my epidural or if I was moving faster. She was shocked that I was at a 9 already! The water breaking had been the ticket.

An hour later they were ready for me to push and Clarkson was born at 9:43 am.

I had a really bad spontaneous hematoma and eventually ended up needing to go to the OR to get it drained and stitched up, and so far it’s been an interesting recovery compared to my others. I also had to get a CT scan to make sure the bleeding was done—it was a little scary and overwhelming to have to be intubated, to have a hematoma the size of a football, and to feel so crummy. I had to stay an extra day in the hospital with all the complications. But Clarke has been SO sweet and wonderful, worth all of the difficult things that happened!

April 2024

We had a beautiful April leading up to BABY LOW! Randy ran a half marathon and killed it, we had a great time being showered and loved by so many friends, colleagues, and family. We all went to get family manicures right before baby came, enjoyed the Children’s museum, and soaked in our last moments as a family of four. It was an April we will always remember!

March 2024

March was a beautiful month! The weather started to get warmer and we had a blast spending more time outside. Our Easter was a beautiful time.

Baby Low went to his first concert! The Rocket Summer never disappoints and we had so much fun going with friends. We also went to a delicious fancy dinner to celebrate Kimmie’s birthday and it was SO tasty. We love our friends and have walks to the park, cereal parties, reading time, just doing so many fun things together and it’s the best.

We did our maternity photos and we LOVE how they turned out! It was such a fun time to snap some family pictures together.

We celebrated Mom and Dad’s birthdays with everyone and had a blast with all the grandkids all together! We love cousin time and the boys always have a blast together.

We enjoyed our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt! Easter was earlier than normal this year which meant we got rained out of doing it in the yard, but the church turned out beautiful and fun! Randy helped make eggs and pancakes and the boys ran around and had a blast with their friends.

We celebrated Holy Week and the most sweet moment was when I washed the boys feet, then Wells asked if he could wash mine and Randy’s. It brought me to tears. For five minutes we had a very special, sacred moment in our home. My kids remind me of the love of Jesus Christ all the time. Our Easter was fun decorating Avatar eggs with friends, spending lots of time with cousins, doing Egg hunts, and getting some awesome outdoor toys from the Easter Bunny!

March was a beautiful month! We can’t wait to see what is coming in April!
