Catching Up

I haven’t posted in TWENTY DAYS. Which is crazy for me. We’ve been running around like mad, Randy started waiting tables for the summer until grad school starts in the fall. Work is busy for me. We moved to Syracuse. Graham has been sick and is getting better. Things are good and busy and so wonderful.

11 months old

I can’t believe my baby is 11 months old!
This month G
•was a champ while we packed up and moved to a new place. He’s adjusting pretty well!
•talks alllll the time and can say quite a few words.
•still has 0 teeth. 😂
•loves reading books.
•stands on his own and walks around the furniture or pushing his cart. •understands when we ask him to do or not do something, and ignores us half the time 😂
•loves cuddling and is still the best baby around.
Can’t believe we will have a ONE YEAR OLD next month!

Crazy World

Life is CRAZY. We are MOVING in a couple weeks which is nuts. We’ve been soaking in a visit from my sister and Graham and Melanie are having such a fun time together. They are such cuties!

I’ve been working a TON and now trying to get everything for our move figured out. It’s a bit overwhelming but we’ll get it all figured out, right?

New Car!

We finally upgraded to a brand new car!!! I’m in love with my official “mom car” and Randy and I argue about who gets to drive it all the time hahaha.
Randy has been home since busy season is over and it’s been amazing. Work has gotten really crazy for me so it’s been SO great that Randy has been around to take care of things, play with Graham, and more. The weather has been getting warmer so we’ve been going on walks and playing at the park. We’ve loved going shopping, going to see the fountains, playing games, and just getting some time all together!

St. Paddy’s Day

We had a fun St. Patricks Day! Green eggs and Lucky Charms for a healthy, Irish breakfast. Then of course, corned beef and potatoes and cabbage for a delicious dinner.

My sister had Spring Break and came up for part of the week so we got to go shopping, swimming, and have a fun spa night. It was a really great time, and Graham loved hanging out with Beth!

Aren’t I lucky!

10 MONTHS

•G is busy busy busy and gets into everything. He loves standing up and climbing on absolutely everything, especially mom.
•He has a fascination with remotes and calculators, hence he’s holding an old remote in these pictures.
•He still loves eating and is currently obsessed with Veggie Straws.
•He loves dancing and adores any kind of music, and playing the piano.
•He will give you a “noggin,” a big open mouth kiss, likes to share, and will try to color and throw a ball to you.
•He’s loud and sweet and cuddly and we are still so obsessed with him.

Lately

We’ve been decorating for Easter, having crazy weather that is snowing one minute, sunny the next, playing with grandma and grandpa, and spending every spare minute Randy has together. Busy season officially wrapped up on Friday so we’re in for a great few weeks with lots of dad time!
We’re happy and so glad we have great things ahead for our little fam.

First Haircut

Graham’s hair was starting to look a little crazy, so we took him to get his first haircut! Randy had to work, but we got the whole thing on video (will be on YouTube soon) and got some pictures. Graham did so good and didn’t really fuss at all. His new do is SO cute!

Weekend Wedding

This was a whirlwind weekend!

I woke up at 4 AM on Friday to drive to Idaho Falls. Graham woke up for a minute when I put him in the car, and then was asleep the rest of the drive. I listened to podcasts and books and of course, Hamilton.

We went to Smitty’s my FAVORITE pancake place with my parents when we arrived, then took a nap. After our nap it was time to head go my cousin Jaxson’s wedding! It was a beautiful time at the temple, and my cute cousins watched Graham and had the best time hanging out with him.

We had a delicious lunch where Graham just wanted to go play basketball with the big kids.

Of course Graham and I stopped for chocolate milk at Reed’s Dairy before taking another nap. Then it was off to the reception. Graham ate half a funnel cake, candy, whipped cream, cookies, and had the best time.

We went back to our hotel room and went to bed, so we could wake up at 4 AM Saturday and drive back home. It was a crazy fast trip, but so fun to see all my family and celebrate with my cousin!

BDAY CELEBRATION

With busy season, we had to squeeze in as much celebration as we possibly could for Randy’s birthday!

We spent the weekend before his birthday watching a movie he really wanted to see on Friday night. Then on Saturday, he had to go into the office for a few hours. Graham and I met him downtown and we grabbed some lunch, then were off to the aquarium! Graham had the BEST time and LOVED seeing the fish. He tried to grab them all and couldn’t figure out why he couldn’t get through the glass. He liked seeing the ducks and the seahorses, and of course, the sharks swimming all around him.

Randy and I had so much fun touching the fish and chatting, just relaxing together.

After the aquarium we took Graham home and went out on a date. We had seafood (only fitting after the aquarium) at the BESt place I’ve had seafood in SLC. Harbor Seafood and Steak was expensive but so insanely delicious. We ate dessert and had a great time talking about the past year, and about the future.

Sunday we got to spend time with Randy’s family for his birthday which was such a blast. Graham was chasing his cousin Charlotte around and it was SO funny, I’ll add it to the next YouTube video!

On Monday, Randy’s actual birthday, he got to go kickbox and even got to teach a combo. We had breakfast, he went off to work and was there all day. We got lucky and got to go in for dinner and see him for a little while! Oh, the life of an accountant!

We had so much fun celebrating, and can’t wait for the year ahead!
