Thanksgiving Point

The tulips are here which means it is spring! We loved hanging out at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point with my family. All the cousins being together was a blast! The flowers were beautiful and we had so much fun at the museums and walking around together.

Easter

We had an amazing Easter! We colored eggs (Randy did Clue characters this year which was fun), had a great day with my family, the Easter Bunny visited, and we had another Easter egg hunt with the Low’s!

Wells and Graham got lots of candy and outside toys, and Wells is a chocolate lover! The bubbles and outdoor shovels the Easter Bunny brought have already been a big hit.

On Easter and the week leading up we talked about Jesus and it is so sweet to hear what Graham has to say about Jesus and how much he loves him.

Jazz Game

We took Wells to his very first Jazz game! He loved it, was very tired, but still wanted to stay awake and see everything. Graham is Jazz obsessed and would be devastated if anyone scored besides the Jazz. They babbled and talked to everyone sitting around us, making everyone laugh! We ate play-doh ice cream and pretzels and the Jazz pulled out a win!

Warmer Days

Warmer days outside have meant we are RUSHING out and it’s been bliss. Graham is obsessed with scooter rides and calls us the scoot gang, and begs Randy and I to put on our “scoot boots” (roller blades) every day. I push Wells in the stroller and we ride up and down the streets.

We’ve made great friends in our new neighborhood and have enjoyed picnics, play dates, basketball nights, and more.

Graham started spring soccer! He’s on the Green Dragons and understands the concept of soccer a lot better this year! I’m so proud of how determined he is and how much he wants to learn.

And right after turning 9 months old, Wells started to crawl! He was doing a goofy crawl with his head, and now he keeps one foot planted on the ground to scoot. It KILLS me, it’s too funny!

Busy season is officially OVER after a really rough 3 months. We survived and Randy killed it. It’s very nice to have him back!

I am just obsessed with my boys, our life, and all the joy ahead.

9 Months of Wells

Wells is finding his voice and loves to babble, yell, and squeak at us.
He still does his goofy crawl using his head as leverage and it kills me.
He loves the bath, crawling all over Graham, and eating. His favorite foods are eggs, bananas, chocolate anything, ramen, pasta, rice, strawberries, blueberries, and I could go ON AND ON.
He signs more and all done, claps, and waves.
He wants to be standing up all the time but is so stubborn about moving his feet to step.
He’s as obsessed as ever with Graham and they are the sweetest brothers ever!

March

It’s been a beautiful March so far! We have

-Celebrated Grandma and Grandpa’s birthdays with the whole family

-Watched our yard start to take shape

-All got a nasty stomach bug over the course of two weeks and missed school, felt so sick, and threw up so many times

-Memorized scriptures for church and Maddy got to sub in Primary lots

-Worked a lot with busy season and scrambled to find time together

-Made smiley faces for breakfast

-Graham is getting SO good at coloring

-Went to the Symphony with Grandma and Grandpa for Graham’s first time!

-Made some amazing friends in our new neighborhood who we just love.

8 months of Wells

The happiest, sweetest baby alive!

-he can clap and wave and it’s the cutest thing ever.
-he uses his head as leverage to army crawl and it kills me.
-he loves eating and is obsessed with strawberries, bananas, eggs, Mac and cheese, corn dogs, and really anything I put in front of him.
-his eyes follow Graham or Randy anywhere they go.
-he has big energy and loves to be loud, but also will cuddle up and whisper a second later.
-he’s the best of everything and I’m so happy he is ours

February

These boys crack me up. We enjoy slow days that are so busy but so fun. Graham and Wells play together SO well. Wells wants to crawl so badly! Graham still has the sweetest soul. He’s so big and growing up makes me so sad but so happy for him. I want the time to stop but also I’m so happy to see what’s ahead for these boys of mine.

Slow Lane

I feel like lately I’ve been trying to enjoy the slow lane a little more. Things are SO busy and busy season is wild, but I’ve been trying not to feel so frantic. And I like that. I spent more than $10 on a pair of pajamas and it feels SO luxurious. I love it. Slow mornings and making pancakes and just finding time every day to do fun things has been my favorite shift. There are days that still are a lot, but I’ve just decided to be a little less frantic and I love it.

7 Months of Wells

7 months with our sunshine boy and every day gets better and better!
•Wells has 2 teeth coming in and he’s taken teething like a champ.
•He rolls back and forth and uses his head to scoot forward in the weirdest form of crawling I’ve ever seen.
•He LOVES food and will eat anything we give him, and a lot of it.
•He is obsessed with Graham and G cries when they have to stop playing together for any reason.
•He loves saying daaaaaa daaaa, ha-TA, and squeaking so loudly.
•He loves dancing with mom, drumming with dad, eating his books and toys, and looking out the window on car rides.
Forever grateful to have him
