December 2024

DECEMBER. This month was absolutely beautiful. We had the best month doing all of our favorite things. We went to the Layton lights, Festival of Trees, Candlelight Christmas, the Grand America/Home Alone weekend, ice skating, making snowmen, Graham’s piano recital, tubing with our friends, the end of basketball season, the nativity, gingerbread making. The season flew by SO fast. The boys absolutely loved everything we did and we had the best time doing everything with Clarkson for the first time.

The boys loved getting a switch for Christmas, squishmallows, little action figures, and have eaten so much candy they are nearly sick! Clarkson crawled around all of Christmas morning enjoying all the paper and new toys to chew on.

Graham did SO great at his piano recital and played a duet with Grandma. We were SO proud

He scored so many baskets during basketball this season and we are so glad he’s doing things he loves.

Wells is killing it at gymnastics, he is learning to read, and loves one on one time.

The boys are Wicked obsessed and loved all the Wicked Festival of Trees, the pokemon and mario ones too, and Wells obsession with Jack Skeleton has hit full throttle!

And CLARKSON is…

8 m o n t h s

Our cutie boy is growing up so fast and it’s making me sad.
Clarke started full on crawling this month and he is QUICK. He gets into the boys things and Wells drags him away by his ankles. Graham just wants to pull faces and make Clarke laugh all day.

He loves eating anything we put in front of him and was a fan of crab, ice cream, oranges, and salmon!

Clarke has two little teeth and wants to put everything in his mouth. He babbles nonstop and is trying to pull himself up to stand which is making us stressed!

We had a perfect first Christmas with Clarkson and he loved all his little toys, and the toys and packages that weren’t his too. We can’t wait to go into the new year with our little love!

October and November

We had a whirlwind fall and it was full of the best time. Clarkson is growing up so fast we don’t even know what to do.

Clarkson at SIX MONTHS:

Somehow my littlest love is 6 months old

Clarkson is pure joy, pure love, pure happiness. His smile and giggle melts everyone around him. He is so sweet and laid-back, he loves seeing new people and hands out his smiles to everyone.

His brothers adore him and make up little songs about him, complain if they didn’t get enough time with him, and love making him smile. Clarke has everyone fighting for time with him.

He rolls all over and tries to scoot to keep up with his brothers. He loves green beans and baby crackers and bananas. He only gets mad when he has been on his own for too long or he is tired. His eyes follow his brothers, he gives his dad his biggest smiles, and he’s a major mama’s boy.

He has already rolled out of his bumbo and off the nugget and is ready to be on the move. He babbles and talks to us with the brightest eyes. He will chew on anything he gets his hands on and sleeps really well.

I don’t know how the time keeps moving faster, but I’m just trying to enjoy every second with my sweet baby

A girls trip and a murder mystery date night were other highlights! I loved going to be with my friends in Saint George, making crafts and eating out and going swimming!

October was full of Halloween festivities, the boys were Pokemon and loved it. Pikachu, Evie, a Pokeball, Ash and Misty. It was a delight. We passed out donuts to the neighbors for Halloween and the boys got buckets of candy.

We took Clarke to his first Jazz game and it was such a blast. We went with Cousins to the Cherry Hill Scary Hill which we loved, and we went to the Black Island Farms fall fun a couple times. The boys LOVE it there and have a blast! We did the Red Butte Garden Halloween event with Courtney and Tommy—we LOVED it and will be back!

We threw a shower for Aunt Kate and it turned out so fun and lovely!

We went and saw Nutcracker in November and loved taking Wells for the first time. After intermission when the curtain came up, Wells exclaimed “Wait a second is this a Christmas show??”

He also insisted the Arabian dancers were bats, and applauded, oohed, and ahhhed so loudly.

We decorated which is always a favorite morning for me. We got donuts and enjoyed listening to music and getting everything set up

We got our family photos and it was so BEAUTIFUL, We loved them so much, Amber is the best person to work with.

Clarkson turned 7 months! Clarkson is 7 months old. It feels unfair how fast the time is flying.

Clarke is on the move, army crawling so fast he gets into all his brother’s things, and trying to get on his knees and crawl to make even more mayhem.
He has found his yell and scream and isn’t afraid to use it, no matter if he’s happy or sad.
He loves to eat and gets very put out of anyone eats without sharing. He loves eggs, cheese, chocolate, bread, cucumbers, and peppers the most.
He is the smiliest baby ever and has big open mouth grins for everyone, with lots of laughs.
He’s getting a little more stranger danger, but is generally so good natured he can charm anyone.

Our family is so lucky to have the sweetest baby brother

We had a lovely Thanksgiving, saw Wicked, and have had the best wrap up to fall and kick off to the holidays. It’s the best time of year!
